Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport and transfer to your hotel at downtown.

Then visit Tiananmen Square, locates at the heart of Beijing, is the world's largest city center square which witnesses the development of China. And then the Forbidden City, nominated as World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 1987, is the largest ancient palatial structure in the world. At night, the epitome of Beijing cuisine Peking duck dinner is deliciously prepared.
Proceed to visit Mutianyu Great Wall (round-way cable car included) - the largest construction scale and best quality among all sections of Great Wall that connects with Jiankou in the west and Lianhuachi and Jinshanling in the east. Then pay a visit to the Summer Palace, which is a royal garden most completely preserved with richest landscapes and large compact buildings. It was listed as the world cultural heritage in 1998. Later, enjoy boating at Kunming Lake.
In the morning, enjoy tour by a 3-wheel rickshaw to Hutong, namely Beijing's traditional alleyways, to see the local people's life. Later, transfer to the train station to take a high speed train to Xian (about 5 hours). After arrival, transfer to the hotel.
Drive to visit Xian's highlight - Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. It is known as the eighth wonder of the world and a museum to display terra-cotta warriors and horses in Qin Dynasty. Then take a home visit to local family, where you will learn how to make Chinese dumplings and cook one or two traditional Chinese dishes. Enjoy the dinner with the family members.
After breakfast, visit the Old City Wall - the most intact ancient Chinese wall in existence. It encircles and protects the ancient part of Xian City. Secondly, go to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda which has a brick frame built around a hollow interior, and its square base and shape reflect the building style of other pagodas from the era of Tang Dynasty. At last, enjoy a shadow puppet show at Gao's Courtyard House in Muslem Quarters.
Pick up from hotel and transfer to train station for high speed train to Shanghai (around 6hrs).Upon arrival at Shanghai train station, be picked up and transferred to the hotel. After a short rest, go to visit the fantastic the Bund, which located in the Huangpu District, the scenery line of Shanghai and at the center. At night, enjoy the optional acrobatic show.
Full day city sightseeing today. You will visit Yu Garden, which has a total area of 20,000 square meters with an exquisite layout and beautiful scenery. After a visit to Xintiandi, a car-free shopping, eating and entertainment area where composed of restored traditional shikumen (stone gate) houses on narrow alleys, go to Renming Square and visit Shanghai Museum and learn the knowledge of Shanghai and appreciate some relics. Take a walk at Nanjing Road for free shopping.
